Welcome to this weeks Little Loves post!
Read
I finished Girl on the Train and absolutely loved it. The kind of book that pulls you right in and keeps you hooked all the way through, I’d definitely recommend it!
With all the hype about Go Set A Watchman I’ve decided to re-read To Kill a Mockingbird, one of my hands down favourite books ever. Have you read it?
With E coming to the end of pre-school *sob* her learning journal (thingy) has been sent home. Her little face when she first started there, adorbs, where has the time gone? I think I’m going to be a bit of a wreck when it comes to her last day next week. N was at this pre-school too so they’ve been a part of our lives for a long time now. I know I’m going to be an embarrassment to my children when I start sobbing while hugging a bemused nursery worker!
Watched
As you are well aware I’m a bit of a Netflix addict and always on the look out for good series to get hooked into. This time it’s been Orphan Black. My lovely sister in law recommended it and I’ve totally binge watched both seasons!
I totally didn’t realise that Child Genius was back on, so I’ve started catching up on it. I find it fascinating (and a little disturbing at times), and bizarrely I’m quite thankful my girls aren’t geniuses!
Wore
I treated myself to some new nail polish and I’m loving this one at the moment. It’s a bit of a change for me but it looks great with my silver and turquoise rings.
I’ve been on the lookout for some new trainers for N and browsed the 915 section of New Look and came across some beauties that just happened to go up to my size too…
So of course this happened!
Heard
This girl. That cover. LOVE.
Made
We ‘made’ a trip to Liverpool over the weekend (see what I did there?! Tenuous link ahoy!)
We’ve had a few weekends at home recently getting jobs done and generally chilling after a busy few months, but on Sunday we decided we could do with a family trip out. We rounded up the girls, jumped in the car and drove to Liverpool for the World Museum. N LOVES museums so she was beyond excited to get in there and start learning. There was so much to see that I was on info overload by the time we’d finished! We’ll definitely be going back again.
and lastly..
The summer sale at my store Little and Fierce is now on! We need to make room for all our fab Autumn and Winter stock so head on over and grab yourself a bargain!
Have a lovely weekend!
