It’s been a busy week for us this week. We had family stay from Thursday to Monday and then I juggled uploading my Autumn stock to the shop and entertaining the girls, as a result blogging and commenting has been severely neglected. I’m so sorry if you joined in with #littleloves last week and I haven’t been over to comment yet, I will try harder this week.
Welcome to this weeks Little Loves post!
Read
It’s been such a busy week (again) that I’ve hardly read a thing (again!) I did, however, catch this fantastic post by Jess over at Along Came Cherry – ‘Why nothing is free in the blogging world‘. I could not agree more with what she’s written. It frustrates me when people interpret what I get as being free, like Jess explains while we are so grateful for all we get it is also a lot of work keeping up a blog and I don’t think people sometimes appreciate that.
Watched
I took the girls to the cinema this week to see Inside Out, I don’t know who was more excited, me or them! Each of us loved it, and I think got it at different levels. I’ll admit to sharing a tear or two at a particular point, I’m sure those that have seen it will know the bit I mean. This is definitely a film we’d watch again so I’ll be getting it on DVD when it comes out for sure.
Like I mentioned earlier we had my sister in law and her kiddos stay over the weekend, so I’ve watched the girls have a fantastic time with their cousins. They played together so wonderfully it really was a joy to watch.
Wore
I picked up some new jewellery from the Topshop sale and I LOVE it.
Heard
I found my James Blake CD on a bookshelf this week and it reminded me how much I love his music. Much to my girls’ annoyance it’s been on in my car ever since!
Made
I’ve made absolutely nothing this week, well apart from lunch and dinner, but as they weren’t particularly exciting I don’t think they really count! The girls have rediscovered their Hama beads, so they’ve covered most of the table (and the floor) for the past few days.
E also spent over an hour playing Lego with her cousin, it was so cute listening to them!
and lastly..
We’ve got anew addition to our family… no I’m not preggo (!), we are reviewing a car for the next 10 days and it’s already my new baby! We have a BMW 2 series Gran Tourer to try out and review and I have a feeling they’ll be prising me off it when it comes to an end, haha!
It has an iPad holder in the back, which E quickly discovered. She then put on Peppa Pig and declared she’d stay in there until bedtime!
Have a lovely weekend!
