What a week?!
This week has seen Noo go back to school and my baby E start school. I’m sure I’ll be blogging about it all over the next couple of day, so many mixed emotions! I know there’s a lot of parent bloggers who have little ones starting for the first time this year soon.

I’ve read very little this week. What with both the girls getting ready for and then going to school there’s been lots of last minute prep and play dates to fit in leaving little time for reading.
E however has been reading this Biff Chip and Kipper book I picked up from Waterstones over the holidays.
I’m sure most of it she’s just memorised but I think that’s a big part of recognising letters and learning to read anyway. I love how proud she looks when she’s finished reading it to you!
I hope to get a chance over the weekend to finish my book, I know that Aimee Horton is desperate to talk to me about the ending!!
Watched
At the weekend I took the girls to see Sponge Bob the movie at the Kids Club at our local Odeon. The girls LOVED it, I needed a paracetamol and a lie down afterwards! It was really trippy and a bit much for me, I have to say.
We’re onto season 6 on Sons of Anarchy and I hate to say it but I’m not loving it at the moment. Everything has got rather bleak and I’ve come to the point where I dislike all the characters! For those of you that have seen them all does it get better? I really hope it does!
Wore
The girls were back in their uniform this week…
Noo is rocking a backpack from Little & Fierce, obvs! This one is from our Animal range and has proved popular with all her friends.
Heard
I am loving the new Foals album. The mister and I are massive fans, and these boys can do no wrong in my eyes. A great fourth album for sure.
Made
We worked on N’s room over the bank holiday weekend and built her new bed!
After a whole summer sharing a bedroom, N was very happy to get her room back and have her own space.
It’s tricky getting a full shot of the bed as her room is just so small! The size of the room added to the trickiness of building it too, let me tell you! I’ve got a few more bits to do to finish it off, I really can’t wait until it’s all done.
A full room tour should be up next week, so keep an eye out for it.
and lastly..
It’s The White Company’s 21st birthday!
They’ve sent me this gorgeous candle to help celebrate and I LOVE it. We adore The White Company candles as they are the only scented candles that we’ve had that don’t set off the mister’s allergies. Check out the rest of their 21st birthday edit it’s beautiful.
